Bring your friends for a little friendly competition.

Ages 12-17 are welcome with DIRECT parental supervision for the entirety of the throw time. For minors under the age of 18 their parent MUST BE present when signing the waiver, and at least one chaperone to stay for their throw time. We pride ourselves on providing a unique safe and enjoyable axe-perience for all! We hope to see you soon!

What is a “Corn Hole Tourney” 
 
  • Anyone can participate
  • Team sign-up at registration booth in front of Café Brule on Main Street
  • Registration 5:00-6:00pm.
  • Entry fee - $30 per team
  • Tournament location - Intersection of Main Street and Prospect, in front of Café Brule
  • Cash payout for
    • 1st and 2nd Place
 
“Corn Hole Tourney” rules 
  • Follows official Corn Hole rules
  • Bracketing depends on # of teams registered
  • Cash prize depends on teams entered.

People’s Choice – Judging
Friday, September 6th

Main Street next to the beer tent

What is People Choice “Wings War” –
  • Wings will be prepared and provided by local restaurants.
    • Committed restaurants
      • Whimp's Place
      • Toby's
      • OLC
      •  
  • Anyone can participate, but limited to the first 100 entrants.
  • Sign-up at registration booth in front of CorTrust Bank
  • Begins at 5:30pm. 
  • You will receive 10 tokens to use as your vote (choose wisely)
  • Wing war $15 per entry
  • Vote with your chips by placing them into the container with the number that has your favorite flavor wings.  Voting ends at 7:30pm.  
  • People’s Choice Judging
  • Each token will count as a Vote for your favorite wing.
  • The restaurant with the most tokens will be declared the winner and receive a Ribs Rods and Rock n' Roll trophy to display in the restaurant until next year's event.  
  • Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Vermillion Food Pantry.

  • Limited to 10 amateur contestants
  • Each team will receive 8 racks of Hy-Vee ribs on Saturday morning. 
  • Ribs will be turned in at 4:45pm for "Peoples Choice" judging.
